Literacy as Liberation & The Science of Reading

Literacy is far more than decoding symbols—it’s the key to voice, agency, and social participation. By examining the Science of Reading as Montessorians, we can unlock our learning about what all children need to become fluent readers. We have many tools from training, and we also have some room to do a deeper dive in some areas.
